I finally had a chance to visit China's capital recently, and was quite inspired by it. In the few days that I was there, I saw a city with an amazing past, an exciting future, and an inner vibrancy. I had planned to visit the Great Wall while I was there, but was much too busy exploring Beijing's ancient alley ways and arts district. I will definitely be going back for a longer stay, and will be sure to include a trip to the Great Wall when I do.
