About Me
what I do
the most common question people ask me when I tell them that I am a photographer is ‘what kind of stuff do you shoot?’. It always seems like a difficult question to answer. I can say ‘I shoot weddings, engagements, families, children, events, artists… you know, real people.' However, that doesn’t even begin to describe what I do.
I am more of an artist than a photographer. Whenever I do a shoot, no matter what it is, I want to create something that is unique and beautiful. All artists need inspiration - something to light the creative fire. I do photograph real people, but they are not just subjects in a photograph - they are the spark and source of my inspiration. And because no two people are the same, every shoot I do ends up being something very personal and different.
The artistic process does not end inside the camera. I use post-processing to enhance the images I take and to add a personal style in a way that reflects the individuality of each shoot.
who I am
a few facts about me: I live in Hong Kong. My background is in design. I am from Alberta, Canada. I am over 27 and under 35. I love animals. I have donated my services and work to numerous charities. I am fascinated by nearly everything that I see. I am married (no kids yet). I play guitar (poorly). I like to drink coffee in the morning. Ummm… that’s all I can think of for now. If you have any questions about me (how I started in photography, what my favorite food is), feel free to contact me - I’d be happy to answer any questions :)
